sympathetic ear. Phones are answered 7 days a week with day and evening hours.

Referrals
for professional services, AIDS service organization, community groups,
gay-owned or gay friendly-businesses. We have information on points of
interest to the gay or lesbian traveler visiting Dallas/Fort Worth. Our phones
are staffed 7 days a week, days and evenings.
The
Phil Johnson Historic Archives & Research Library
Our library
contains a large collection of literature by gay and lesbian authors, as well
as fiction and non-fiction on the subjects of homosexuality, coming out, HIV
and AIDS, and gender issues.
Educational
Programs
Workshops are
offered on self-esteem and respect, dating and building relationships,
parenting, etc. We also offer a regularly scheduled "Gay 101"
course that covers a spectrum of gay and lesbian issues.

This service (either
voice mail trees or a single box) is available to community groups or
individuals and is accessible 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Lecture
and Special Event Series
The
Community Group Fair showcases various organizations, and offers an
opportunity for networking and growing. Other
programs include personal development workshops such as creative writing,
defensive driving, public speaking or travel planning.
